It can affect all aspects of mental health and subsequently affect a person's sexual performance. The present study was conducted with the aim of determining the relationship between sexual function with health anxiety and fear of recurrence in women with breast cancer history. Method: This cross-sectional study was conducted on 150 women aged 24-76 referring to the Breast Cancer Institute of Jihad University in Tehran, 2021. Three questionnaires, including the Health Anxiety Inventory (HAI-18), Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI-6), and Fear of Cancer Recurrence (FCR) were used to collect data and completed online. The data were analyzed by pearson's correlation coefficient, and One-Way ANOVA using SPSS 21. Results: There was a significant inverse correlation between sexual performance and health anxiety and sexual performance and fear of recurrence. Furthermore, the relationship between fear of relapse and health anxiety was significant. Also, there was a significant association between the level of education with the total score and all sexual function subscales except satisfaction and orgasm. Conclusion: Based on this study, it is necessary to pay attention to the mental state and sexual function of women with breast cancer. }, URL = {http://ijbd.ir/article-1-1010-en.html}, eprint = {http://ijbd.ir/article-1-1010-en.pdf}, journal = {Iranian Journal of Breast Diseases}, doi = {10.30699/ijbd.16.1.33}, year = {2023} }
