مقدمه: پرسشنامه باورها نسبت به غربالگری سرطان پستان ابزاری معتبر برای ارزیابی این باورها است که تاکنون روانسنجی آن در جمعیت‌های چینی، عربی و کره‌ای ساکن استرالیا انجام شده است. با این وجود، ویژگی‌های روانسنجی این ابزار در جامعه زنان ایرانی بررسی نشده است. این مطالعه با هدف ترجمه، انطباق فرهنگی، و ارزیابی روایی و پایایی نسخه فارسی پرسشنامه باورها نسبت به غربالگری سرطان پستان در میان زنان ایرانی انجام شد.
مواد و روش‌ها: در این مطالعه روش‌شناسی، ابتدا فرایند ترجمه و بازترجمه پرسشنامه غربالگری نسبت به سرطان پستان انجام شد و سپس روایی صوری، محتوایی، سازه، همگرا و واگرا ارزیابی گردید. تحلیل عاملی اکتشافی با استفاده از روش مؤلفه‌های اصلی و دوران واریمکس انجام و ساختار عاملی ابزار بررسی گردید. سپس برازش مدل سه‌عاملی با تحلیل عاملی تأییدی بررسی شد. پایایی ابزار از طریق ضریب آلفای کرونباخ ارزیابی گردید. تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌ها با استفاده از نرم‌افزارSPSS نسخه ۲۰ و Amos نسخه 24 انجام شد.
یافته‌ها: نسخه فارسی پرسشنامه غربالگری نسبت به سرطان پستان شامل سه بعد و 13 عبارت بود. تحلیل عاملی اکتشافی ساختار سه‌عاملی ابزار را تأیید کرد. تقریباً 72/59 درصد از واریانس کل ابزار توسط سه عامل اول تبیین گردید. تحلیل عاملی تأییدی نیز برازش مطلوب مدل را نشان داد (RMSEA=0.05, CFI=0.94 ,GFI=0.95). ضریب آلفای کرونباخ برای ابعاد مختلف بین 74/0 تا 83/0 بدست آمد. همبستگی ابعاد با نمرات هر بعد، روایی همگرا را تأیید کرد و همبستگی پایین بین ابعاد غیرمرتبط نیز روایی واگرا را نشان داد.
نتیجه‌گیری: نسخه فارسی پرسشنامه باورها نسبت به غربالگری سرطان پستان ابزاری معتبر، پایا و دارای انطباق فرهنگی مناسب برای ارزیابی نگرش‌ها و باورهای زنان ایرانی نسبت به غربالگری سرطان پستان است.
