مقدمه:  سرطان پستان شایع ترین سرطان زنان است. درد و خشم یکی از فراوان‌ترین و ناتوان‌کننده ترین پیامدهایی است که کیفیت زندگی این بیماران را تحت تاثیر قرار‌می‌دهد. از این رو هدف پژوهش حاضر مقایسه اثر بخشی درمان آگاهی و ابراز‌هیجانی و درمان پذیرش و تعهد بر شدت درد و خشم زنان مبتلا به سرطان پستان بود.
روش بررسی: پژوهش حاضر از نوع مطالعات مداخله ای یا طرح پیش آزمون- پس آزمون با گروه کنترل و پیگیری دو ماهه بود. جامعه آماری پژوهش زنان مبتلا به سرطان پستان مراجعه کننده به مرکز خیریه مهر سهیلا در شهرستان البرز بودند. تعداد 75 نفر واجد شرایط با نمونه گیری در دسترس انتخاب و به صورت تصادفی در دو گروه آزمایش شامل درمان آگاهی و ابراز هیجانی (25 نفر)، درمان پذیرش و تعهد (25 نفر) و گروه کنترل (25 نفر) جایگزین شدند. برای گروه‌های آزمایش به­ طور جداگانه به صورت گروهی، روان درمانی آگاهی و ابراز هیجانی و پذیرش و تعهد طی 8 جلسه 90 دقیقه‌ای در فاصله زمانی زمستان 1402 تا بهار 1403 اجرا گردید. گروه کنترل مداخله‌ای دریافت نکردند. داده‌ها از طریق پرسشنامه مقیاس چند بعدی خشم سیگل (MAI) و مقیاس دیداری درد (VAS) جمع آوری و با نسخه 24 نرم افزار SPSS با تحلیل واریانس با اندازه‌گیری مکرر تحلیل شد.
یافته‌ها: در گروه آزمایشی درمان  پذیرش و تعهد میانگین و (انحراف معیار) میزان خشم در پس آزمون 47/ 88 ( 93/ 10) نسبت به پیش آزمون 28 /113 (33 /12)  کاهش معناداری داشت (05/ 0P <) این کاهش در مرحله پیگیری هم 04/ 90 (15/ 10) تداوم یافت همچنین در این گروه میانگین و (انحراف معیار) شدت درد  در پس آزمون 90 /3(94/ 0) نسبت به پیش آزمون 28/ 5 (00/ 1) کاهش معناداری داشت (05/ 0P<)  نتایج 761/ 3 (94/ 0) تا مرحله پیگیری هم تداوم یافت. در گروه آزمایشی درمان آگاهی و ابراز هیجانی میانگین و (انحراف معیار) میزان خشم در پس آزمون 428/ 80 (76/ 7) نسبت به پیش آزمون 95/ 117 (24/ 12) کاهش معنا داشت(05/ 0P<). این کاهش تا مرحله پیگیری نیز تداوم یافت90/ 82 (46/ 8) همچنین میزان درد در پس آزمون 61/ 2 (49/ 0) نسبت به پیش آزمون 714/ 5 (05/ 1) کاهش معنی داری داشت (05 /0P <)  که این کاهش نمره درد 571 /2 (50 /0) تا مرحله پیگیری نیز تداوم یافت. همچنین درمان آگاهی و ابراز هیجانی موثرتر از درمان مبتنی بر پذیرش و تعهد بوده است.
نتیجه‌گیری: با توجه به نتایج به دست آمده استفاده از درمان آگاهی و ابراز‌ هیجانی و درمان پذیرش و تعهد می‌تواند روش اثر‌بخشی در کاهش شدت درد و خشم بیماران مبتلا به سرطان پستان باشد. بنابراین پیشنهاد می‌شود این مداخله ­ها در مراکز درمانی به‌صورت گروه درمانی به‌کار گرفته شود.
