مقدمه: بهبود کیفیت زندگی زنان مبتلا به سرطان پستان، نیازمند مداخلات روان­شناختی است. این مطالعه با هدف مقایسه اثربخشی درمان مبتنی بر پذیرش و تعهد و شناخت­درمانی هستی­نگر بر انعطاف‌پذیری روان­شناختی زنان مبتلا به سرطان پستان شهر اهواز انجام شد.
روش بررسی: روش پژوهش حاضر مداخله و از نوع پیش­آزمون-پس­آزمون با گروه کنترل و مرحله پیگیری سه‌ماهه بود. جامعه­آماری شامل کلیه زنان مبتلا به سرطان پستان شهر اهواز در سال ۱۴۰۲ بودند و نمونه پژوهش نیز شامل 45 نفر از این گروه بودند که به روش دردسترس انتخاب و در سه گروه 15 نفره،(دو گروه آزمایش و یک گروه کنترل) گمارش شدند. سن آزمودنی­ ها بین 18 الی 45 سال بود و دارو استفاده می­کردند. برای گروه آزمایش اول پروتکل روان­درمانی مبتنی بر پذیرش و تعهد (ایزدی و عابدی، 1395) و گروه آزمایش دوم شناخت­درمانی هستی­نگر کیسان (نقل از بهمنی، 2010) اجرا شد ولی گروه کنترل تحت هیچ مداخله روان­شناختی قرار نگرفت. ابزار پژوهش شامل پرسشنامه انعطاف­پذیری روان­شناختی دنیس و واندروال (۲۰۱۰) بود. برای تجزیه‌وتحلیل داده­ها از آزمون تحلیل واریانس با اندازه­گیری مکرر استفاده شد.
یافته­ها: نتایج نشان داد هر دو روش درمان مبتنی بر پذیرش و تعهد و شناخت­درمانی هستی­نگر بر انعطاف­پذیری روان­شناختی زنان مبتلا به سرطان پستان به‌صورت معنی‌دار اثربخش بودند (01/0 >p). همچنین بین اثربخشی درمان مبتنی بر پذیرش و تعهد و شناخت­درمانی هستی­نگر بر انعطاف­پذیری روان­شناختی، تفاوت معنی­داری دیده نشد.
نتیجه­گیری: باتوجه­به نتایج پژوهش هر دو روش درمان مبتنی بر پذیرش و تعهد و شناخت­درمانی هستی­
نگر جهت بهبود انعطاف­ پذیری روان­شناختی زنان مبتلا به سرطان پستان توصیه می‌شود.
